About Me
I have been a Garfield employee since 2010! I was a teacher assistant for the CTE teachers at Garfield High School. I helped Mr. Villarreal and Mr. Carrillo(Auto Shop), Mr. George (Video Production), Mr. Alvarez (Graphic Design), and Mrs. Nevarez (Computer Applications). When Mrs. Nevarez proposed that I take her position after she retired, I jumped at the opportunity. I had been working closely with Mrs. Nevarez since 2014 and learned a lot about her, the students, and the class. I began teaching August 15, 2022 and so far it has been a positive experience. Prior to working at Garfield I was an automotive technician at Hollywood Toyota. I also volunteer as an IT support person and Social Media Manager at the Elementary, Our Lady of Guadalupe on Hazard.
