MY BIO
PERSONAL
I am a father, and a husband. I am one of two children. I moved to Compton, California in 1978 from Jackson, Mississippi. I was an excellent student throughout my grade school years. I was always active in many sports and clubs. In high school I played football, basketball, baseball, and I ran track. I graduated from Paramount high school. Then I attended El Camino Junior College, where I played football, I eventually played football at the university level as well.
HOBBIES
I enjoy sports. My favorite sport is FOOTBALL!!!!!! I love to watch football and basketball. I also enjoy working out, and watching movies. But most of all I love laughing and having a good time with my friends.
EDUCATION
I have my AA degree in General Education. I have my BA degree in Psychology, and I have my Master's degree in Special Education.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have been an LAUSD teacher since 1998. My first three years I taught 6th grade at Stevenson MS. I began teaching at GHS in 2001. I love teaching at GHS, the students are very respectful here. I also love the culture at GHS, I love all of the accolades that our school and students have earned over the years!!!
Coaching
My coaching career began in 1996 at Washington Prep High School where I was a member of the JV coaching staff. Although I didn't start teaching at GHS until '01, I began coaching at GHS in '98. My first three years were as a JV coach. In 2001 I was promoted to the varsity level. From '05-08 I coached at both, GHS and Cerritos College. I am proud to say, that I am a member of the 2007 LA CITY 3A CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM. I am also a member of the 2018 Southern California Championship team and we also made it to the State Championship that year. But maybe most importantly I am a reigning member of the GHS football team that has WON THE CLASSIC 10 YEARS IN A ROW AND RUNNING:)
