Mr. Salvador's Office
My career began when I became an education specialist for the Boys & Girls Clubs branches in Long Beach, California. While working part-time, I earned my Associate's Degree at Long Beach City College. I transferred to CSULB in Spring 2003 and worked as an after-school staffer for Stanford Middle School and the Los Alamitos School District. Post-graduate, I became a Behavior Intervention Specialist for a non-public agency for 7 years. One of the many school sites I worked in was Garfield High School. I love the staff, the school, and it's culture. I have been an educator at Garfield for 7 years now and I am always ready to be at your service.
To gain a better understanding about about who I am, I always refer to this quote from the Greek philosopher Aristotle,...
“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”
As Always...Thank you and Have a Great Garfield Day!
