My name is Sholanda Maria Coleman. I'm a 12th and 9th Grade instructor at James A. Garfield High School.  A 22 year veteran, I take my responsibility toward my students and community very seriously.  My ongoing commitment to the well-being and responsible citizenry of our future generation is the reason for my creation of a very strong, yet warm and nurturing learning environment for all of my students. As a team, we will face the upcoming school year, fearlessly. We will learn new information that will challenge us, but nothing will ever break us.
