How can I prepare my child for test taking?
• Help your child understand that the test provides an opportunity to show what he/she knows about a subject and how the teacher can best help him/her learn
• Make sure your child understands that the scores simply give information. They will not be used to reward or punish.
• Make sure that your child has regular study habits.
Reassure you child about the test-taking experience. Students who are relaxed and sure of themselves do better.
