Demolition and Construction at Garfield High

Demolition of the auditorium and main building has begun. Construction projects have also taken place on our campus!

The auditorium is slowly being demolished. The 80+ year old building will come down first followed by the Administration building. This opens the door to the advent of new structures. We have also started to prepare in other areas for the construction of our new buildings. Trenching in the front of the school allow the placement of electrical and data cables to the project.

Our campus has seen the addition of classrooms and offices. Crews prepare diligently to have the classrooms and offices ready for the fall semester that begins on September 13.

We will all have to take on the challenges that allow for construction to continue on campus. Some of may have to travel a little further, or just work with the crews when areas of construction are fenced-off.

Please be patient and know that a brighter day is in store for all students, staff and community members.
